Although women are happy to carry their child inside their tummy, it is unavoidable that they also feel some sort of insecurity about their appearance. You also have to know that overweight women are at risk of having preeclampsia or high blood pressure. If you are overweight, you also have the tendency to have delivery problems and might end up delivering through caesarean section. It is better to maintain a healthy weight not just to look good and stay fit while pregnant but also to avoid health problems.
Stay active. Even if you are pregnant, it is not an excuse to just sit at home and avoid physical activities. You also need to exercise. There are moderate exercises and physical fitness activities that you can do. Your doctor can recommend what physical activities are safe for you and your baby. You just have to know your limitations and you know when to stop. Safe physical activities will help you stay fit while pregnant.
Do not overeat. Pregnancy is not a license to eat all you can anytime you want. It is not a reason to eat more than what is needed to nurture your unborn child. Gaining too much weight could result to pregnancy or delivery problems. Eat a healthy diet including fresh fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy products and whole grains. Avoid junk foods and processed foods.

Stay away from oversize clothes
Pregnant women make the mistake of buying or using oversize clothes, T-shirts, shorts, in order to hide their growing tummy. They feel that oversize clothes will protect the child more. But wearing these kinds of clothes will not do anything for the baby and worse, they will only make you appear bigger to people. It is good to buy clothes that are cut the right way for you to look good while pregnant. Choose sizes that are just right for you. Not too tight but not too loose either.
Style your hair or better yet, cut it short
Because of their morning sickness, dizziness and headaches, most women already forget that they also have to groom themselves. One of the major problems of women is the hair. During pregnancy, women tend to have falling hair. Because of this, some women do not comb their hair as often. Although gels and other chemicals cannot be applied during pregnancy, you can still style your hair and look good while pregnant by tying it into a pony. You can also save yourself the heartache and just cut it short. This way, you don’t have to do anything.
Wear fashionable but comfy clothes
Who says you cannot wear fabulous and fashionable clothes to look good while pregnant? Let loose your fashionable self and experiment with all kinds of clothing and style. Look for “in” pieces that you can incorporate into your look. Cuts and styles of clothes are not the only ones that you can use when you want to follow the fad and look good while pregnant. There are also colors and accessories that you can use to still be “in” while pregnant.
Wear a smile
No amount of clothes, no matter how expensive can compare to your smile. To look good while pregnant, believe that you are beautiful and show the world that you are having fun and you will. 1. Nausea or morning sickness: Morning sickness are the nauseating feelings and vomiting you experience during pregnancy. 12. High Basal Body Temperature (BBT): If your BTT stays in the high range for 18 days or more, it is very likely that you are pregnant.
13. Cramping: The growing uterus stretches to accommodate your new baby and this causes menstrual-like cramps to occur.
14. Spotting: Slight bleeding occurs when the fertilized egg begins to implant itself into the uterus any time from 3 to 6 days after fertilization. A lot of women confuse this with their period but this happens usually before the period starts and the discharge is lighter than normal.
15. Darkening of the areolas: Your areolas could darken and increase in diameter during pregnancy. This is a natural process by which your breasts are preparing themselves to produce milk for your baby.
16. Tender or swollen breasts: It is common for women to have sore, tingly, tender or swollen breasts during pregnancy. This feels like a amplified version of how your breast feels before your period.
17. Missed periods: If you have been sexually active and you missed a period, it is a good indication that are you are pregnant. A pregnancy test should be taken to confirm if the missed period is really caused by your pregnancy.
